Findings:
1. The medium plate capacity utilization at 38 Chinese steel mills that
represents 60 production lines was 95% in week ending March 7, 2019,
down 1.83% from last survey.
2. In terms of production lines, running production lines was 57 out of
total 60, meaning operating rate was 95%, down 1.83% from last survey.
3. In terms of medium plate capacity, running capacity was 82.36 million
tons out of 86.36 million tons, making capacity utilization of 95.37%,
down 1.32% from last period.
4. Medium plate daily production for this week was 213,200 tons, down
2,700 tons from last survey.
