According to Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Hubei transported 25,000 tons of coal by railway in August 2019, down 75.5% or 77,000 tons on year. From Jan-August, total coal transport in Hubei Railway stood at 384,000 million tons, down 5.6% on year.
Hubei transported 63,000 tons of coke by railway in August 2019, down 4.6% or 3000 tons on year. From Jan-Aug, total coke transport in Hubei Railway stood at 469,000 million tons, up 7.3% on year.
Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission said that in August, the province transported a total of 4.463 million tons of materials, an increase of 0.995 million tons, up 28.7% on year.
From Jan- Aug, Hubei Province transported 32.014 million tons of goods, an increase of 7.264 million tons, up 29.4% on year.
