Scrap
price in Shandong province keeps falling on Monday, with a total drop of
20-30 yuan/t from the prior trading day. Though daily arrivals to mills
declined, volumes increased by and large.
Meanwhile,
it is hard for scrap price to rise in the short run since the steel price
has been declining lately.
Therefore,
SteelHome predicts that prices of scrap products in China market may
fluctuate at a relatively low level in the near term.
