It is understood that off-site declarations in Jiangsu province has basically been banned, but it is not clear whether the off-site declarations between different cities of Jiangsu provinces is also prohibited.
In terms of berthing of imported coal, we need to pay attention to whether the imported coal ships in transit can apply for berthing permission. There are 48 days before January 1, 2020. If the ships in transit are not allowed to berth, the demurrage cost will be higher.
As of November 12, the price of hard coking coal at Australian Peak Downs mine stood at USD 147 per ton, down 34.5% on a yearly basis. At present, the storage area of goods in northern ports is relatively tight and the price of primary-line coking coal is priced at 1350 yuan/t, which is 22.9% lower than the high price of 1750 yuan this year.
