Scrap
price in Henan province remains roughly flat on Monday. For 6-10 Heavy
Scrap, it comes to 2640-2690 yuan/t.
Meanwhile,
production curbs have an impact on operations in converters and
mini-mills, bringing declined steel consumptions from some mills. Under
winter stockings, however, arrivals of scrap to mills have not reduced
significantly.
Therefore,
SteelHome considered that prices of scrap products may remain roughly flat
in the short run.
