On February 14, 2020, price of low sulphur coking coal quoted in Market of Anze, Shanxi province rose to 1600 yuan/t (bank acceptance), up 70-120 yuan/t compared with that in last year. Price of raw premium coking coal rose by 50 yuan/t to 970 yuan/t (in cash).

Currently, 2 sets of coal mines in Anze resumed production with 2.70 million tons of total production capacity. The rest coal mines are still under inspection. It is expected that one coal mine will resume production in the short run.

For the time being, coal enterprises resuming production have low production capacity, targeting the buyers whose transactions were made before the Chinese Spring Festival. Quotations of clean coal and raw coal just started, and no transaction is made.
