SteelHome: Iron Ore Inventory at China Main Ports on October 21, 2021

According to SteelHome survey, iron ore inventory at 46 main Chinese ports was 140.2 million tonnes as of October 21, 2021, up 500,000 tonnes from October 14.

Of the stocks, about 82.8 million tonnes belongs to traders. The stocks comprise 22.5 million tonnes of lump, 4.3 million tonnes of pellet and 10.8 million tonnes of concentrate fines. Daily shipment was 2.65 million tonnes, down 30,000 tonnes from the previous week.

Meanwhile, daily iron ore arrivals at five largest Northern ports (Qingdao, Rizhao, Tianjin, Caofeidian and Jingtang) reached 1.43 million tonnes this week, down 330,000 tonnes from last week.
