ChinaCoal Energy released a notice on April 16 that it produced 10.83 million tons of commercial coal in March 2024, down 880,000 tons or 7.5% on a yearly basis.
The sales of commercial coal in March were 23.97 million tons, down 16.9% from the same period of previous year. Among the sales, self-produced coal sales registered 11.06 million tons, down 3.7% year on year.
The combined commercial coal production in January-March totaled 32.73 million tons, down 1.7% year on year. The aggregated sales in 3 months came to 63.87 million tons, down 14.6% year on year. Among the sales, self-produced coal sales totaled 32.57 million tons, down 0.8% year on year.
