CISA Members
During September 1-10, 2019, CISA member steel
manufacturers produced 20.0179 million tons of
crude steel, 18.09 million tons of pig iron and
18.7729 million tons of steel products and
3.6251 million tons of coke.
Daily output of crude steel at CISA member steel
manufacturers was 2.0018 million tons, down
14,000 tons or 0.7% from the daily output during
August 21-31, 2019; daily output of pig iron was
1.809 million tons, down 4,600 tons or 0.25%
from the daily output during August 21-31, 2019;
daily output of steel products was 1.8773
million tons, down 116,300 tons or 5.83% from
the daily output during August 21-31,
2019; daily output of coke was 362,500 tons, up
31,600 tons or 9.55% from the daily output
during August 21-31, 2019.
National Output
It’s estimated that during September 1-10, 2019,
China produced 27.8284 million tons of crude
steel, 23.1796 million tons of pig iron, 33.0099
million tons of steel products and 12.8333
million tons of coke.
On daily basis, China produced 2.7828 million
tons of crude steel, 2.318 million tons of pig
iron, 3.301million tons of steel and 1.2833
million tons of coke.
Inventory
The inventory of CISA members during September
1-10, 2019 was 10.5862 million tons, down 1.2614
million tons or 10.65% from August 21-31, 2019.
